Documentation for Verification

• Upon your acceptance of the admission offer, please make arrangements for City University of Hong Kong (Dongguan) to receive your official academic results:

  Official transcripts/certificates:

  Documents showing your final (latest) grades should be forwarded directly by your school/college in a sealed envelope with an authorized signature and an official seal/stamp across the back flap.

  National Examinations (e.g., Malaysia UEC, Kazakhstan UNT): 

  An officially certified copy of your examination results should be forwarded directly by your school/college in a sealed envelope with an authorized signature and an official seal/stamp across the back flap.

  GCE results:

  For results obtained from Cambridge Assessment International Education (CIE), please upload the supporting documents showing your exam centre(s), candidate number(s) and exam series via your application account, to allow us to access your data at the CIE Direct website.

  For subject results obtained from Pearson, please request the service "Certificate Services" at Pearson website and register CityUHK (DG) as a recipient of your test results to facilitate our verification.

  For GCE results obtained from other examination boards, please request the examination board(s) to send an officially certified copy of your examination results directly to Global Engagement Office in a sealed envelope with an official seal across the back flap and/or an authorised signature.

  For TOEFL, IELTS, SAT, AP, ACT or IB tests:

  Please register City University of Hong Kong (Dongguan) as a recipient of your test results to facilitate verification. The results must be sent directly by the relevant testing body.

• If official documents (e.g., transcripts/certificates) are not issued in English, please also provide an official English translation.

  Applicants who receive a conditional offer should also supply the documentation certifying the fulfilment of conditions before the deadline indicated in the admission offer letter.

  The University reserves the right to decide whether the submitted documents are acceptable. If the students fail to provide the documentation acceptable to the University for verification, your admission offer will be withdrawn and your enrolment at the University will also be rescinded.
