City University of Hong Kong (Dongguan) is located at No. 8, Gaoxiong Road, Songshan Lake, Dongguan City, Guangdong Province. It sits within the Songshan Lake Science City, a pilot zone of the Greater Bay Area's Comprehensive National Science Center. Accommodation in our school is divided into quadruple rooms for two people or twin rooms for one person. The dormitory rooms are equipped with beds, wardrobes, bookcases, desks, chairs, air conditioning and other facilities. The accommodation fee is 1,200 RMB/academic year for a 2-person dormitory and 3,000 RMB/academic year for a one-person dormitory, please refer to the official admissions guide for more details.

The core courses at City University of Hong Kong (Dongguan) are primarily taught in English.

Students will select their majors at the end of first year. They have two opportunities to apply for a major change—at the end of Semester A and Semester B in their second year. To apply, students must submit a formal request and obtain approval from both their current faculty and the faculty of the intended major. The decision will be based on a comprehensive assessment of their academic performance in relevant courses, interview results, and other criteria.
